Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our Mid Office team, focusing on settlement processes. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to kick-start their career in operations within the financial services industry. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely settlements, collaborating with various teams to maintain operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the firm’s middle office operations in duties including but not limited to financial assessments, performing trade confirmations, trade execution, and trade settlement
  • Ensure operations are compliant with rules and regulations in various local jurisdictions
  • Processing and verification of all trades for the day processed in the system
  • Summarize daily transactions related to trade bookings and address any discrepancies that arise.
  • Ongoing project work focused on process improvement, system implementation, new product development, or launching in new markets.
  • Execute interexchange fund transfers.
  • Verify payment information for accuracy and completeness before execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and prepare necessary documentation.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fresh graduates with immediate availability are highly preferred.
  • Relevant internship experience in finance is preferred.
  • Having knowledge of equity, fixed income, foreign exchange (FX), futures, options, and cryptocurrency is a plus.
  • Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen focus on data, details, and risk management.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin is preferred.
