Roles & Responsibilities:
Blockchain Node Operations: Deploy, maintain, and upgrade multiple blockchain nodes (Ethereum, Solana, Base, etc.). Continuously optimize node latency, configure alerting and monitoring systems, and lead incident response efforts to ensure high availability and performance.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across major platforms (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, etc.), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Infrastructure Automation: Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Salt to automate provisioning, configuration, and routine operational tasks, driving efficiency and reducing manual toil.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and product teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business objectives, and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.
Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date technical documentation covering system architecture, operational runbooks, and incident post-mortems.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
Linux Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Linux system, including storage subsystems, networking stack, and kernel-level concepts.
Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash, with the ability to build and maintain automation tooling and monitoring scripts.
Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Cloud Platforms: Practical experience working with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, etc.), including compute, networking, and storage services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Blockchain Expertise: Prior experience with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other distributed ledger protocols — including node operations, client configuration, or on-chain tooling.
Experience in FinOps
Previous contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
Certifications in cloud computing or DevOps practices.
